Специальность «геоинформатика» в транспортных вузах
Обосновывается появление новой области знаний "геоинформатики транспорта" и необходимость подготовки специалистов по этому направлению. Приводится опыт и результаты совместных исследований МИИТ и НИИАС в рамках объединенного научно-исследовательского и
учебного центра "Геоинформационные и спутниковые технологии железнодорожного транспорта". Отмечается эффективность использования центра для вузовского образования и производства.

An appearance of the new field of knowledge "Transportation geoinformatics" together with the need in training specialists in this field are substantiated. An experience and results of the MIIT and NIIAS joint studies within the framework of the joint research and training center "Geoinformation and satellite technologies for rail transportation" are presented. An efficiency of using the center for the university education and production is marked.
