Сибирской государственной геодезической академии 80 лет

В статье представлены общие сведения о Сибирской государственной геодезической академии. Она является единственным за Уралом вузом по подготовке дипломированных специалистов в области геодезии, маркшейдерии, геоинформационных технологий, картографии, кадастра, геоэкологии. Отражены направления деятельности вуза и современные тенденции его развития. Представлены результаты работы академии на городском, региональном, международном уровнях. Отмечено, что ее деятельность соответствует стратегическим интересам Сибирского федерального округа, а показатели - статусу университета.

The article presents an overview of the Siberian State Academy of Geodesy. The Academy is the only higher educational establishment in the Urals which prepares graduates in such fields as geodesy, mining geodesy, geoinformation technologies, cartography, cadastre and geoecology. Key areas of the academy activities together with the contemporary trends of its development are presented. Results of the Academy's activity are given for the city, regional and international levels. It is noted that its activity meets the strategic interests of the Siberian Federal District and the indicators fit in with the status of the university.
